Data Processing Policy

We are Taeda services s.r.o., registered at the Regional Court in Ostrava, Section C, File 34695, Company ID 28613279, with headquarters at Kosmonautů 121/15, 73601 Havířov.

We operate an e-shop on the website www.taeda.cz

To provide our services, sell goods, and operate our website, we process certain personal data.

The processing of personal data is primarily governed by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation) ("GDPR")

A. Processing of Personal Data When Using the Contact Form

If you inquire about our products and services, we will work with your contact details provided to us, mainly through the inquiry form.

These include:

Name, surname, email address, and product specifications you are interested in.

Why?

We use this information to contact you for further arrangements regarding goods and services.

On what legal basis?

This processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – negotiations about a contract or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

How long will we process personal data?

If we do not establish further cooperation, we will process your data for no longer than 5 years from our last communication.

B. Processing of Personal Data in Case of Purchase

If you make a purchase with us, we will work with the information you provide. These are primarily billing details: name, surname, address, company ID (IČO), VAT number (DIČ), phone number, email address, and delivery address.

Why?

We need to process personal data to fulfill our contract – to deliver goods or services to you. We will also communicate with you regarding the status of your order, any complaints, or inquiries.

Additionally, personal data will be processed to comply with our legal obligations (mainly for accounting and tax purposes, or handling complaints).

On what legal basis do we process personal data?

This processing is based on Article 6(1)(b) GDPR – performance of a contract and Article 6(1)(c) GDPR – compliance with a legal obligation.

How long will we process personal data?

For the duration of our service provision and then for 10 years from the last provision of such service or delivery of goods.

C. Newsletters (Commercial Communications)

If you are a purchasing customer and have not opted out during your purchase, we will use your email address to send newsletters.

On what legal basis?

This is allowed under Section 7(3) of Act No. 480/2004 Coll., on Certain Information Society Services, unless you opted out during your purchase.

How long will we process personal data?

For 7 years from your last purchase. You can unsubscribe from newsletters at any time via email or by contacting us at shop@taeda.cz

II. Who Has Access to Your Data?

  • Your data remains with us. However, some companies or individuals may access it as they assist us in operating our e-shop. These include:
  • The operator of the e-shop platform Shoptet (Shoptet a.s., Dvořeckého 628/8, Břevnov, 169 00 Prague 6, Company ID: 28935675)
  • Companies involved in shipping goods (General Logistics Systems Czech Republic s.r.o., Česká pošta, s.p., Direct Parcel Distribution CZ s.r.o., Zásilkovna s.r.o.)
  • Payment processing companies (Adyen N.V.)
  • Email service providers (SupportBox s.r.o., SmartSelling a.s.)

To enforce our rights and legal claims (e.g., if you fail to meet obligations towards TAEDA - fail to pay for received goods or otherwise unjustly enrich yourself at TAEDA's expense), we may share your personal data with: (i) debt collection agencies assisting in debt recovery; (ii) companies interested in purchasing TAEDA's claim against you; (iii) a company that purchases such a claim; (iv) a lawyer; or (v) a public authority. If required by law or a public authority (e.g., Czech Police), we must also provide your personal data.

Personal data is processed only within the European Union.

III. What Else Should You Know

Our company does not have a designated Data Protection Officer.

No automated decision-making or profiling occurs within our company.

V. Your Rights Regarding Personal Data Processing

The GDPR gives you, among other things, the right to contact us and request information about what personal data we process, to request access to this data and have it updated or corrected, or to request restrictions on processing. You can request a copy of the processed personal data, request that we delete personal data in certain situations, and in certain cases, you have the right to data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest.

If you think we are not handling the data correctly, you have the right to file a complaint with the Office for Personal Data Protection, or to take your claims to court.
