Terry Fabric

Terry Fabric:

Terry fabric is a special type of fabric characterized by loops on its surface. These loops create a soft, absorbent, and bulky texture. Terry fabric is most often made from cotton, but also from other materials such as bamboo, polyester, or their blends. Thanks to its properties, terry fabric is very popular in many areas of the textile industry.

Uses of Terry Fabric:

  • Towels and Bathrobes: Classic use, where terry fabric excels due to its absorbency and softness.
  • Bathrobes: Provide comfort and warmth after a bath or shower.
  • Clothing: Used for children's clothing, sportswear, and other products where absorbency and comfort are important.
  • Home Textiles: Bedding, upholstery, and other decorative elements.
  • Socks: (as described below)

Terry Fabric in Socks:

In our range of socks, you can find different variations of terry fabric on the inside to ensure greater wearing comfort, better insulation, and sweat absorption:

  • Full Terry: The entire inside of the sock is made of terry loops. These socks are the softest, warmest, and have the highest absorbency. Suitable for sports, hiking, and everyday wear in colder weather.
  • Half Terry: Terry loops are located only in the foot area, where the greatest comfort and protection are needed. The rest of the sock is smooth. These socks are a compromise between comfort and breathability.
  • No Terry: Socks have no terry layer. They are lightweight, breathable, and suitable for activities where emphasis is placed on low weight and quick drying. Ideal for intense sports in warm weather.

Choosing the right type of terry fabric depends on your preferences, activities for which you will use the socks, and the season.
